With the cancellation of the Crawfish Cook-off this year, donations are needed more than ever. The loss of the Cook-off revenue will result in a $150,000+ loss for the Hospice House.

The Hospice Foundation of the South’s signature event! This event is a huge part of our budget supporting the Hospice House. Every April the HFOS hosts the Crawfish Cook-Off. The largest one day event on the Northshore boasts Over 40,000 pounds of crawfish. Crawfish are boiled by 60 teams competing for the title of “Best Crawfish in St. Tammany Parish”. Celebrity judges as well as the teams themselves decide the winners. 3 locally well-known bands entertain the crowds of 7000 plus people every year. The admission includes all the crawfish you can eat and the concert event.

Proceeds directly benefit The Hospice Foundation of the South’s Hospice House. The first and only hospice house in St. Tammany Parish.
Tickets will be available for purchase at all St. Tammany Parish Hancock Whitney Banks closer to the event. $30 in advance, $35 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free. Purchase tickets online at www.CrawfishTickets.com.

Wine and Dine history
Select Brands was looking for a partner to host this event on the Northshore and when our previous Executive Director heard the news, she was all on board! Dwayne and Charlene Shockley have been awesome partners with the HFOS since before the first event. They also participate in the Crawfish Cook-Off; donating all of their proceeds of the day.
Each year, our event is held at Benedict's Plantation in November. Select Brands donates over 100 wines that are available to taste. 10 -12 local restaurants share their signature dishes for patrons to taste. A live and silent auction is a part of the event. A trip to wine country in California is typically included in the auction. Raffle tickets for 100 Bottles of wine are also another part of the event. Wines that are tasted that night may be ordered at the event through Acquistapace Supermarket. Tickets are available at Acquistapace Supermarket in Covington, at the Hospice House, and EventBrite.
Guest for the Wine and Dine come from all over the Gulf South to sample the wines at this event.
