April 18, 2026! The Hospice Foundation of the South’s signature event is back! This annual Crawfish Cook-Off is a crucial part of our budget supporting the Hospice House, the first and only hospice house in St. Tammany Parish. Every April, HFOS hosts this bustling event on the Northshore, featuring over 40,000 pounds of crawfish. More than 50 teams compete for the title of “Best Crawfish in St. Tammany Parish,” with winners chosen by celebrity judges and the teams themselves. Two well-known local bands entertain the crowds of over 7,000 attendees each year. Admission includes all the crawfish you can eat as well as the concert. Beverages and other food will be available for purchase. Proceeds directly benefit the Hospice House, ensuring quality hospice care in Covington, LA, and Slidell. Tickets will be available for purchase at all St. Tammany Parish Hancock Whitney Banks closer to the event. Tickets are priced at $35 in advance, $45 at the gate, and will increase to $40 in advance starting March 1. Children 12 and under are free. Purchase tickets online at www.CrawfishTickets.com. Please note that no outside food or drinks, trays, tents, ice chests/coolers, or pets are allowed, and all items are subject to search. Crawfish must be consumed on the premises. The event will go on rain or shine; no refunds will be given.
